The Monte Vista Water District, which provides water utility service to unincorporated areas between Montclair and Chino in San Bernardino County, has taken steps to provide sewer collection services. By cutting off contamination at its source through sewer collection services, they are addressing this issue directly. The city of Chino continues to deprive the unincorporated resident sewer hookup unless they pay a very high fee. While the Monte Vista Water District has the authority to provide a reasonable sewer system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s important for Monte Vista Water District to seek authorization from the San Bernardino County Local Agency Formation Commission for these powers so they can effectively carry out their plans and protect residents from further contamination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
